Oreo was launched back on March 6th, 1912 as a cookie sandwich: two chocolate biscuits disks embracing a cream filling.

According to its Wikipedia page “Oreo is the best-selling cookie brand in the United States, and in the 21st century it became the number one selling cookie globally, bringing in more than 500 billion sales”

Oreo a.k.a the “Only Oreo” was actually a copycat of Hydrox introduced in 1908 by Sunshine Biscuits.

And because karma is a b*tch even in the world of biscuit sandwiches, the phenomenal success of Oreo inspired biscuit brands worldwide to produce their own version of Oreo.

The Moroccan Market is no exception when it comes to Oreo-inspired biscuit sandwiches.
